About me
Ryan Ostir grew up in Warren County, NJ, and attended Warren Hills High School. He graduated from the Penn State College of IST in 2018 with a Security & Risk Analysis degree, receiving the David Rusenko Entrepreneur in Residence scholarship for his Mobile DJ business, Mixmasters Entertainment 2018. After graduation, Ryan spent five years at Textron/Bell Helicopter, where he supported digital transformation projects for supply chain and integrated operations and several programs for the US DOD and Canadian DND. In 2023, he earned a Master's in Corporate Innovation from Penn State's Smeal College of Business (Online).
Currently, Ryan is a Product Owner for embedded software at John Deere, where he manages the development lifecycle for a suite of embedded build tools used by thousands of Deere engineers globally. He resides in the Research Triangle Area of North Carolina with his wife Emilee and their dog Bella. Ryan enjoys cooking, traveling, and cheering on Penn State Athletics in his free time.
