Lillian Xu is VP for the podcast business at Vox Media, where she leads strategic initiatives, franchise expansions, partnerships, and business operations. She joined the company as executive director in 2023, and led talent deals and partnerships with the multi-platform pop culture phenomenon, Celebrity Memoir Book Club, tennis champion Andy Roddick, Chicago Bulls Point Guard Lonzo Ball, YouTube star Kenny Beecham, personal finance creator Vivian Tu, Pittsburgh Steelers’ team captain Cam Heyward, and others. Prior to joining Vox Media, Lillian worked at New York Public Radio, where she led their strategy and business development team, overseeing corporate strategy and growth initiatives for top podcasts like Radiolab and The New Yorker Radio Hour. Previously, she also worked as a management consultant and product manager in Oliver Wyman’s Digital practice. She lives in New York City, where she sings in a chamber choir and plays pickleball.
