Join us for the LaunchBox Lightning Sprint—a fast-paced, hands-on challenge where you’ll turn a fresh idea into a real startup in just one week! Start your week with lunch with student entrepreneurs as they share how they turned their ideas into successful businesses. You’ll gain tips, insights, and plenty of inspiration. Then, dive into brainstorming, identifying everyday problems you can solve with a startup. Spend the rest of the week taking easy steps forward—create a simple website, start social channels, and even make a sale! On the final day, pitch your progress to a panel of judges, sharing what you’ve built and learned! This challenge is open to anyone curious about starting a business—no experience needed! The goal is to develop your idea, gain traction, and compete for up to $1,000 in prizes by showing your progress—followers, email signups, or revenue. Rules are simple: work on new ideas only, projects must be solo, and the focus is on having fun, moving fast, and seeing what you can accomplish in just one week. It’s your chance to learn, create, and test a business idea in a supportive, fun environment. By the end of the week, you’ll have real-world experience, connections, and maybe even the start of something amazing.

Join us for an after-hours networking and social event at Pegula Ice Arena! Ice skate rentals and skating are free for all registered Startup Week participants. The event kicks off at 11:20 PM and concludes at 12:20 AM. The Pegula Ice Arena is located across the Bryce Jordan Center and Beaver Stadium and can be accessed by foot, bicycle, CATA bus, private vehicle, or rideshare.
